Chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) is poorly understood and often dismissed — but it is real, measurable, and increasingly responsive to structured pacing and graded activity, when done right.
The mistake most patients make is pushing through good days and crashing for the next three. Our NE Calgary team teaches the energy-envelope approach: working out exactly how much activity your body tolerates on a baseline day, and staying inside that envelope until the baseline rises.
From there, we layer in symptom-titrated movement, breathing retraining, sleep hygiene, autonomic regulation work, and very gentle strength training. Manual therapy and dry needling can help with the muscular tension and headaches that ride along with the condition.
Recovery from ME/CFS is rarely fast, but it is possible. The first goal is stability — then expansion. Book an assessment if you'd like a plan built around your reality, not a generic exercise prescription.
